The Townsville Bulletin is looking for the most popular local bartender, and when we put the call out, our readers answered.
We have received 22 different nominations from pubs, bars, restaurants and hotels across the community, and at least one bar has posted a call-out on social media for a “cheeky vote” to recognise the work of their own staff.
Nominees represent the numerous styles of the bartender, whether it be the mixologist and cocktail innovator, the margarita specialist, the rock star slinging drinks in the precinct on weekends, or the friendly and hardworking face pouring a pint at your local around the corner.
