Victoria Police Stalking Crackdown 04/04/2022

Victoria Police has begun profiling stalkers in an Australian-first trial aimed at preventing serious violence and homicides.

Scientists trawling through tens of thousands of old breast cancer samples have been able to save hundreds of Victorian women from having to face the horror disease again. 

An extra 40,000 surgeries will be carried out by March next year before scaling up to 240,000 operations from 2024 under a $1.5bn “Covid catch-up plan” to fix Victoria’s healthcare crisis. 

Labor has finally killed off plans for a tax hit on family trusts, with treasury spokesman Jim Chalmers promising not to increase taxes if the opposition wins the federal election.
