New Police Powers To Tackle Knife Crimes 15/05/24

 

Police will be able to use metal-detecting “wands” in major public spaces where knife crimes have been committed in the past year, in a key change to proposed new powers driven by concerns about the safety of yearly events like the Easter Show.
