Man found with gunshot wounds after car crashes through fence and hits tree at Roxburgh Park
A man has been found with a gunshot wound inside a wrecked car which crashed through a fence and into a tree at a park in Melbourne’s north.

A 30-year-old Reservoir man found with a suspected gunshot wound following a crash in Melbourne’s north is believed to be the victim of a targeted attack.
Emergency services were called after a white Toyota coupe crashed through a fence and into a tree at a park near the corner of Donald Cameron Drive and Bridgewater Rd in Roxburgh Park about 7pm on Sunday.
It was then discovered the driver had been shot.
“Along with injuries believed to have been sustained from the crash, the driver had a suspected gunshot wound to the lower body,” a Victoria Police spokesperson said.
“The exact circumstances surrounding the matter are yet to be determined but police believe this is a targeted incident.”
The driver was taken to Royal Melbourne Hospital with life-threatening mid to lower body injuries, where he remained on Monday morning in a critical but stable condition.
A 26-year-old Kalkallo woman also in the car was transported to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Armed Crime Squad detectives are investigating the incident.
