Dozens of firefighters are battling a fire at a panel beating business in Moorabbin, with the blaze sending black smoke billowing over the surrounding suburbs.

Dozens of firefighters have responded to a major fire at a factory in Moorabbin.
Fire Rescue Victoria firefighters arrived at the scene just after 4pm to a blaze that erupted at an industrial premises on Ebden St.
More than a dozen emergency service vehicles arrived to smoke and flames billowing from a panel beating business.
At 5.30pm 60 firefighters continued to battle the blaze and a community advice message was issued to the surrounding areas.
Bentleigh East, Heatherton, Moorabbin, Moorabbin East and Oakleigh South residents have been warned of large amounts of black smoke in the area.
“There is currently no threat to the community, but you should continue to stay informed and monitor conditions,” Fire Rescue Victoria said.
Paramedics and police also responded to reports of the incident but no injuries have been reported and the cause of the fire is currently unknown.
The fire was declared under control at 5.33pm.
