Australians To Head To The Polls 31/08/2023

Australians will head to the polls on October 14 to decide if they want an Indigenous Voice enshrined in the constitution, as the Yes and No campaigns launch a six-week final push to the referendum. 

Inflation rose by its smallest margin in more than a year following a fall in the cost of food and petrol, raising hopes the Reserve Bank will leave interest rates on hold for a third straight month. 

The victims of crime advocates who marched on state parliament have still not had a response  to their requests from anyone in the Palaszczuk Government a full week on, as the Premier declared from Europe there were simply no issues in Queensland. 
 
In NRL, it’s been revealed the player who walked away from the Bulldogs over a training ground punishment was barely 10 minutes late for training. 

Almost 320 South Australian schools will close or be forced to alter classes because of Friday’s planned teacher strike.
