After a close competition last year, the time has arrived once again to vote for Townsville’s best gym of 2024.

Comments flooded into the nominations call out post on our social media with fitness fanatics from around the city putting their favourite spots name down for the chance to gain the title.

In 2023, Strand Fitness came first after a tight vote against some other big name gyms including 1 Million Strong which came second and F45 which claimed bronze.

While there are some familiar faces among this year’s nominees, there are also some new kids on the block including The Yard Gym which is quickly becoming a popular fitness destination since it opened at the start of the year.

The winner of this year’s vote will claim the title of Townsville’s best gym for the year and receive a photo shoot and profile in our paper.

Gym goers will be able to do the heavy lifting for their favourite workout spot by voting using the poll below.
