Traffic on Woolcock St as crash blocks road

Long queues of traffic were reported this evening after a multi-vehicle crash at the Woolcock St-Hugh St intersection. All lanes now clear.

UPDATE 7.00pm:

Police have listed the roadway as clear. All lanes flowing.

PREVIOUSLY:

Long queues of traffic are being reported after a multi-vehicle crash at the Woolcock St-Hugh St intersection.

The crash was reported to emergency services at 5.43pm and was initially recorded as a two-vehicle crash before details were updated to four-vehicle.

There is limited information about crash.

Queensland Police say the vehicles involved in the crash were blocking the west-bound lanes.
Drivers stuck in the traffic reported the east-bound lanes being blocked.

Some lanes have been fully blocked for a least 20 minutes.

Queensland Ambulance said they attended to one person at the scene and transported them to hospital in a stable condition at “road speed” (no lights or sirens).
