Person in critical condition after multi-vehicle crash in Garbutt

A 26-year-old man was extracted from wreckage and rushed to hospital in critical condition after a multi-vehicle crash involving a truck at Garbutt.

A 26-year-old man was extracted from wreckage and rushed to hospital in critical condition after a multi-vehicle crash involving a truck at Garbutt.

Police and paramedics responded to crash involving a truck and two vehicles near the intersection of Carroll and Mather streets at 4.42pm on Tuesday.

Paramedics transported a 26-year-old man, who was driving a Holden Sedan, in a critical condition to Townsville hospital, according to Queensland Ambulance Service.
