Police are investigating a crash that occurred in Kirwan this afternoon after a man was taken to hospital in serious condition.
A Queensland Ambulance spokeswoman said the crash involved a motorcyclist in his 40s and a vehicle with multiple people inside on Burnda Street at 1:22pm.
The man was taken to Townsville University Hospital as he suffered shoulder and groin injuries.
The spokeswoman said she believed the people in the car were uninjured but shaken up.
A Queensland Police spokeswoman said the Forensic Crash Unit were still investigating.
