Emergency services are on scene after a motorcyclist hit a kangaroo on the Bruce Highway.
Police and paramedics were called to the northbound lane at Cromarty at just after 3:43pm and are assessing the male rider for chest and shoulder injuries.
It is understood the man is in a stable condition.
A helicopter has been called in due to the location of the crash.
Drivers are advised diversions may be in place and traffic may be slow-moving around the area.
