Kirra Dibb, Holly Langford tie the knot ahead of NRLW season

A star Cowboys half has tied the knot with their partner ahead of the NRLW season’s kick-off.

NRLW Cowboys co-captain Kirra Dibb has taken to social media to share footage of her low-key nuptials just months after her shock engagement.

Dibb, who posted about her engagement to Manly Sea Eagles cheerleader Holly Langford in March, shared a video of their frills-free wedding on Instagram on Tuesday night, captioned “Now we’re really locked in”.

Langford replied to the post with: “love of my life”.

Dibb, a mainstay at the Cowboys as a co-captain and halfback, has also represented the Indigenous All Stars and NSW Blues women’s side.

The Sydney pair had been dating for about two years when they announced their engagement, having juggled a long-distance relationship throughout the NRLW season.

Langford, a Lululemon ambassador, also appeared in the 2021 Bachelorette season, where she was one of 10 women and 10 men competing for the affections of bisexual Bachelorette Brooke Blurton.

The pair announced they were dating in April, 2023 and debuted their relationship in front of the media at the 2023 Dally M Awards.

They first met years earlier when Dibb got her NRL start at the Roosters in 2019 before she went to the Warriors, the Knights, and eventually landed at the Cowboys in 2023.

Langford was cheerleading for the Penrith Panthers in 2019 before she jumped over to the Roosters cheerleading squad in 2023.

Langford shared the news of her engagement to Dibb on Thursday, March 7, publishing several photos of the proposal captioned: “22/2”.
