The Women’s Society’s International Women’s Day event was a resounding success, bringing together women from all walks of life to celebrate this year’s theme, Accelerate Action.
The event highlighted the importance of connection, community, and collaboration - values that are at the heart of the organisation.

Joiy shared her journey of resilience and how The Women’s Centre had helped her grow into the person she is today.
Founded to combat loneliness and foster meaningful connections, The Women’s Society has grown rapidly, now approaching 4000 members.
The Women’s Society founder Jade Nelson said the overwhelming response to the event reinforced the need for safe, supportive spaces where women could come together, share experiences, and uplift one another.
