It was all about building strong financial foundations when the Townsville Business Women’s Circle held its first function of the year on Thursday.

The Findex Business Bite function was held at The Metropole Hotel, with Tracey Mayhew and Sonia Viero-Malone the guest speakers.

The Townsville Business Women’s Circle’s next major function is its International Women’s Day luncheon, to be held March 7 at The Ville Resort-Casino.

President of the Townsville Business Women’s Circle, Kirsty Keyes, said the International Women’s Day function was an incredible opportunity to celebrate and recognise the achievements of women in business.

“International Women’s Day has evolved significantly since its inception, and this growth is a wonderful reflection of the progress women have made both regionally and globally,” Kirsty said. “It’s an important opportunity to celebrate the incredible strides women have taken in their respective industries and the positive impact we continue to make in the workforce.”
