Crash near Burdekin railway crossing blocks part of Bruce Highway

Emergency services are currently responding to a two-vehicle crash near a railway crossing on the Bruce Highway in the Burdekin region.

The incident occurred at the intersection of the Bruce Highway and Giddy Road in McDesme, with reports coming in around 8.45am on Monday.

Police and paramedics were quickly dispatched to the scene, where it is understood that the crash has partially blocked the road.
