FOUR guns have been recovered from a car involved in a Launceston evade incident.
Police tried to intercept a grey Volkswagen golf in the Ravenswood area about 8am on Monday, but the driver refused to pull over.
Police deployed road spikes and stopped the car a short time later.
“Four firearms were located in the vehicle and two men are currently in custody after being arrested at a nearby residence,” Detective Inspector Craig Fox said.
“The firearms were confirmed stolen from a Summerhill address this morning.
“The owner wasn’t aware that those firearms had been stolen.”
