Seven cars stolen from the Health Department in Launceston

Five of seven Government cars stolen in the state’s North during a two-hour crime spree have been recovered, but no one has been charged yet.

SEVEN Government vehicles have been stolen from the Department of Health on Mulgrave St, Launceston. 

Northern CIB believe the cars were taken between 3.45 and 5.30am on Thursday. 

A Tasmania Police spokesman yesterday said five of the vehicles had been recovered but no charges had yet been laid.

The two vehicles still missing are a grey Subaru sedan with the number plate G60CS and a silver Subaru Outback with the number plate G91CG.
