MUSIC festival Party in the Paddock has partnered with an app which promises to “maximise your festival experience” and prevent punters from getting lost.
According to a festival spokesperson, SearchParty will help festival-goers pinpoint their tents, contact their friends, find them in a crowd and even call emergency services if in trouble.
The app was developed by Gold Coast brothers Jessy and Jade Mulholland.
The spokesperson said revellers could create a ‘party’ in app and download a map of the festival grounds near Launceston before arriving on site.
Groups can then ‘pin’ meeting points or other points of interest on their maps.
The app is available on IOS and Android.
Party in the Paddock runs from February 6-8 and this year’s edition will be the last.
