ANDREW Swayze generally finds love songs predictable and boring, but the magnetic punk frontman was inspired by his wife Olivia for the band’s new single, Nothing Left To Do.
A Swayze and the Ghosts’ addictive 70s punk flavoured single dropped on Wednesday along with the title track of the band’s anticipated debut album, Paid Salvation – to be released September 18.
“I don’t generally write love songs as they’re so predictable and can bore the s*** out of me,” Swayze said.
“I’m conflicted between two entirely different personalities which can produce a lot of blurred lines between fact and fiction and then what I choose to present to people.”
“The sole person who has complete access to behind the scenes of Andrew Swayze is my wife Olivia, I cannot hide or look away from her.”
A Swayze and the ghosts have amassed a fierce live following thanks to their raw, bold and at times wild shows.
Over the past two years they have performed at major festivals including Falls Festival and Splendour in the Grass.
Paid salvation can be pre ordered from major music outlets.
Singles Nothing Left to Do and Paid Salvation can be streamed online now on all major streaming platforms.
