Teen OnlyFans model Paris Ow-Yang warned about alcohol-fuelled behaviour

Teen OnlyFans model Paris Ow-Yang is said to have “the whole world in front of her” – but she has also been warned about the stern potential consequences of further brushes with the law.

Teen OnlyFans starlet Paris Ow-Yang is a “young girl with the whole world in front of her”, her solicitor says.

She is also facing the possibility of jail if she does not swiftly change her current trajectory, a magistrate warned as he sentenced the 19-year-old content creator for a violent “explosion” last month.

Alcohol-fuelled misdeeds have now landed the daughter of respected neurosurgeon Michael Ow-Yang and teen show jumper turned adult content creator in court twice this year.

The teen is understood to have a multimillion-dollar property portfolio and is in the top 0.02 per cent of earners globally on adult entertainment platform OnlyFans, with more than 1.6 million followers between TikTok and Instagram.

Archived versions of the Frensham School web page paint Ow-Yang as a broadly accomplished student who was also a trusted peer leader.

Ow-Yang was a Year 12 head of house at the posh private school and the school’s Fitness Centre Head in her final year.

She achieved a Band 6 – the highest performance band, indicating a mark between 90 and 100, in HSC Visual Arts.

A court also heard Ow-Yang was an accomplished equestrian, with records revealing she placed first in 80cm show jumping and third in 90cm show jumping in the 2019 NSW Interschools Equestrian Championships.

All the while, the court heard, the bright young student was grappling significantly with her mental health.

Separate to the legal proceedings – before she even left school – anonymous adult male users were also counting down the days until Ow-Yang’s 18th birthday when she could legally sell explicit content online, and sexualising her in the meantime anyway.

At Waverley Local Court, Magistrate Paul Mulroney was charged with the task of figuring out what to do with Ow-Yang after her latest brush with the law.

Her solicitor Michael Bowe said the young woman’s woes began with her parents’ divorce.

“Her mother and father separated … it struck her with great difficulty, she missed her father,” Mr Bowe told the court.

“She said it was extremely horrible.”

Ow-Yang was subsequently diagnosed with major depressive disorder, grief, trauma, an eating disorder, compulsive shopping, binge drinking, and self-harm.

The charges arose after police were called to a “dust-up” at an eastern suburbs address in November.

Police facts tendered to the court reveal the harrowing details of Ow-Yang’s rampage, during which she extracted two kitchen knives from a block and threatened self-harm.

The documents indicate Ow-Yang repeatedly punched a female victim and called her a “slut” before damaging a wardrobe, guitar, vase and other household items to the tune of $1500.

Mr Bowe told Mr Mulroney his client did not remember the incident at all.

“There’s been a breakdown in her mental health,” Mr Bowe said.

“She’s doing her very best to get herself back on track – she’s trying to work out how to get on in the world, and she’s very successful in one area – very unsuccessful in other areas.”

At the time, Ow-Yang was subject to a community correction order after she was convicted of high range drink driving at more than four times the legal limit when she crashed her luxury car in Sydney’s east in late 2023.

Mr Bowe said that incident occurred after a painful break-up with 44-year-old nightclub boss Julian Tobias.

“She has a partner who is in the American army, he is a stable influence, albeit, the last partner she had was not,” Mr Bowe said.

“She makes a substantial income with her media involvement, and she’s got an agent in the United States and flies there on a regular basis.”

Mr Mulroney denied Ow-Yang’s application for the matter to be dismissed on mental health grounds, and she instead pleaded guilty to common assault, two counts of intimidation, and property damage.

Ow-Yang was sentenced to a 15-month conditional release order to be of good behaviour and abstain from alcohol.

“I’m very sympathetic to people who suffer from mental health conditions, it’s not as though Miss Ow-Yang went to a supermarket and picked the conditions she suffers off the shelf and took them home with her,” Mr Mulroney said.

“But there’s a need for (these) offences to be dealt with seriously and to have the protection of the victims uppermost in our minds.”

The sentence came with a stark warning from the experienced magistrate about the potential consequences if Ow-Yang did not embark on a different path.

“You should have taken a much better look at yourself after the drink driving offence, and you should have done much more to address your alcohol problem,” Mr Mulroney said.

“My primary aim is to bring home to you the necessity of dealing with your mental health and the potential consequences if you don’t – if there is a further offence (like this), the law requires that magistrates must think about sending you to jail.”

One TikTok video from November 2022 – when Ow-Yang was 17 – with 1.1 million views shows the influencer with her father, captioned: “A neurosurgeon dad – a daughter wanting to start an OF”.

“She’s got 1.3 million followers on TikTok, 350,000 on Instagram, how that comes about, I have no idea,” Mr Bowe said in court.

“Dinosaurs like us, we have to accept that social media is a big thing,” Mr Mulroney responded dryly.

“Some people, for whatever reason, do have attention paid to them.”
