NEW Year’s Eve will be celebrated a little differently this year due to COVID-19 – but the good news is the fireworks are going ahead.
At 9.30pm and midnight fireworks will again skyrocket from the middle of the River Derwent, but this year, the fireworks displays will be higher so that each show will be visible from more vantage points throughout the Clarence and Hobart local government areas.
Revellers don’t need to watch from the waterfront.
