4/50Tassie's Cutest Bubs 2021: Iris Wren Prescott born 01/01/2021 (New Year's Day!) weighing a tiny 4lbs4oz (1.9kg) She had a tough start in the neonatal nursery for 18 days. As a same sex couple (2 women) we can't go down the traditional route to have children. Iris and her brother are such a gift to our family. We feel so fortunate to have been able to have our babies thanks to the wonderful gift of sperm donation. Her older brother, Otis, loves her so much and says she is his best friend! 26/50Tassie's Cutest Bubs 2021: Jaxen Betts born on the 9th of Feb. Our little fighter is not only a rainbow baby but a miracle baby! He had a rough start to life, he came out, took his first breathe then stopped breathing, our little precious had to have a CPAP machine for a while and he spent 3 nights in ICU and 2 in SCU. He is now soo strong and healthy and kicking goals. Mumma and dadda both think he is the cutest thing we have ever seen and are both totally in love with our gorgeous boy and are both so grateful for every little sound he makes. Photo: Jemma Jayne

Our nearly 10 pound baby was sent straight to nicu after being born, and 2 weeks after we were discharged was back in for 3 nights, our poor baby has already had more needles and testing than she should have, but shes been so brave through it all. After being faced with a house fire in our first house we bought followed by redundancies for us both then my fiance having emergency surgery to save his life to then have our home flood 1 week prior to Ryder's arrival. 38/50Tassie's Cutest Bubs 2021: Daisee Mavis Pegg, born 12/3/2021 Our sweet girl deserves this title, she spent a few days in NICU, I couldn’t be with her 24/7 because we have a 2 year old son at home, which broke my heart, but what makes her so special is that she was born a couple of days before we lost my beautiful Nanny, we made it out of NICU the day before my nanny passed away, and she was able to feel her and hear her before she left us.
