FROM 250 babies to just 30 — the quest to crown Tasmania’s Cutest Baby is getting closer.
Brighton mum of four Jaimi-Lee Willrath says her daughter Mila “brightens up the world around her”.
The gorgeous six-month-old has nabbed the title of Tassie’s Cutest Smile, with The Mercury’s online poll crowning Mila’s cheeky grin the best out of 50 finalists.

For Burnie mum Mia Russell, the tag of cheekiest bub suits her son Ashton perfectly.
Her little boy was diagnosed with Down syndrome when he was born on April 4, 2018 and has low immunity.
“He had to have surgery at one day old … with what they call a ‘double bubble’ in his stomach,” Mrs Russell said.
“That was very scary (as a first time mum) and Ashton spent a month in the NICU.”
The cheeky toddler is now also a big brother to one-year-old Matilda and he’s starting to hit his milestones.
“He just started walking, he’s finally mastered it so now I’ve got to chase him everywhere,” Mrs Russell laughed.
Ashton was named the winner of Tassie’s Cheekiest Bub in The Mercury’s online poll.
The top five babies from the five categories — Cheekiest Bub, Most Stylish Bub, Miracle Babies, Cutest Smile and Cutest Newborn — were counted and voting is now open to crown the ultimate winner.
Some categories had ties for fifth place, so there’s 30 babies in the final vote.
