SOUTHERN Tasmanian ABC viewers are up-to-date with what’s going on in Melbourne after transmission problems forced the station to pick up the mainland feed.
The national broadcaster was forced to take the Melbourne news for its 7pm bulletin because of issues transmitting to the tower on kunanyi/Mt Wellington.
The northern Tasmanian broadcast went ahead as normal.
The broadcaster said it would stay with Melbourne’s news for the rest of the program.
