A MAN has died after being swept off rocks while fishing on the state’s East Coast.
Police said the fisherman, aged in his sixties, was fishing on rocks at Bolton’s Beach north of Triabunna on Friday when he was swept away.
The man was located deceased in the water shortly after 6pm following a search of the area involving the Westpac Rescue Helicopter.
