SUCCESS in hosting and maintaining an internationally revered and in demand Airbnb is just a masterclass away.

Sarah Andrews owns iconic Strahan holiday stay Captains Rest and is booked out for guests until August.

She attributes her success to styling and design among other things.

“I had a lot of success with my own place very quickly,” Ms Andrews said.

“Some people took notice and wanted me to help them with their properties.

“It got to the point where I was so overwhelmed with inquiries so I had to start teaching what I did.”

The initial three workshops Sarah ran “blew up” into an industry-leading, internationally acclaimed school for micro-hoteliers called The Hosting Masterclass.

“To date we’ve had about 1,500 students come through the school in the last three years,” she said.

The classes include an in person workshop run from historic building the Bowmont in Franklin, online filmed lessons and a zoom live lesson presenting the online classes in a more interactive environment for Airbnb hosts across the world.

The five-week course teaches everything from styling, photography, stocking, and choosing a property.

Ms Andrews said many students found wild success following the classes, earning “tens of thousands of extra dollars” every year.

Ingrid Daniell said the masterclass helped her create a slice of paradise at Falmouth with Whale Song – an Airbnb now booked miles ahead year-round.

“Sarah really does go over and above in sharing her knowledge,” Ingrid said.

The next Hosting Masterclass online class starting March 28 is available for $1,750 per person.

The Hosting Masterclass face-to-face sessions are sold out.
