SALMON lovers will not be able to pick up their favourite fish from Huon Aquaculture’s farm gate facilities at Parramatta Creek and Hideaway Bay due the coronavirus crisis but online sales and delivery can fill the void.

Huon Aquaculture announced on Tuesday it was temporarily ceasing farm gate sales.

“This temporary measure allows us to better manage visitors to our sites thereby safeguarding our employees and business,” the company said.

“In this uncertain time we ask for patience and understanding from those impacted by the closures.”

CEO Peter Bender said the shops would be open again when the situation was resolved and customers could still order online and get home deliver.
