She’s known for her impeccable dress sense but Queen Mary is turning heads for a different reason.
In a happy selfie posted to the Danish Royal House’s Instagram page on Tuesday, the Tassie-born royal was seen alongside husband, King Frederik X, with her luscious brunette locks tucked under a beanie and balaclava as they embarked on a reindeer sleigh ride.
Her husband sported a camo ski jacket and grey cap.
The royal couple have been holidaying with Finland President Alexander Stubb and wife Suzanne Innes-Stubb in the northern Finnish ski resort village of Saariselkä ahead of a state visit.
The translated caption read: “we have experienced the Finnish nature as it should be with cross-country skis under our feet (and) are looking forward ... to getting close to all that Finland has to offer.”
In a separate snap, all four were seen with skis and poles in tow, rugged up in their warmest winter gear.
