NEW photos of a dashing Prince Christian has shown Tasmanian-born Crown Princess Mary’s eldest son is all grown up.
“Today is His Royal Highness Prince Christian’s 15th birthday,” an Instagram post on the official Danish royal family read on October 15.
“The Crown Prince couple marks the day with a new series of pictures of the Prince, which was taken on the occasion of His Royal Highness’s birthday.
“Prince Christian is celebrating the day together with his family.”
Looking natural in front of the camera in a smart blazer and a white button-up shirt, the prince – second in line to the Danish throne behind his dad Prince Frederik, bears a striking resemblance to his mother.
The four photographs were taken by Franne Voigt.
The portraits come just a couple of months after he played a starring role in the TV program ‘Denmark Stands Together’, a documentary about Danish families during the COVID lockdown.
“I miss seeing my friends and spending more time practising sports and being more active,’ he told the program.
The Royal Family last visited Tasmania in 2015, when they reportedly spent Christmas with Princess Mary’s Hobart family.
Commenters on social media have already remarked how much the young prince looks like his mother.
