On Monday we asked our readers for their favourite Tasmanian craft beers.
A whopping 51 beers have been nominated between 34 Tasmanian craft breweries.
Beer lovers shared the love with their nominations on the Mercury’s Facebook page.
“Hobart Brewing Co. have the best innovative range – St Christopher Cream Ale is great – Beautiful stuff,” Bill Hughes said.
“We have one of the highest quality microbreweries sitting in the Moonah business park tucked away and it’s crazy to me how many more people should know about them – the absolute definition of a hidden gem,” Jack Glavin commented along with his nomination for Fox Friday.
“Hands down the best beer I’ve had is Two Metre Tall Brewery just outside of New Norfolk. Their sours are to die for,” Adam Lancaster commented.
“Malting Lagoon Brewing Co. Coles Bay has the best Creamy Irish Ale (my favourite) plus many more hand crafted beers to choose from,” Sue Edwards said.
But now the hard part – we must decide which brew will take out our latest Best of Tassie category.
