PHOTO FLASHBACK: Snowbart a winter wonderland in 2015

13/66MUST CREDIT .. PAT FASNACHT.. Tabbi Fasnacht before heading out to surf at Clifton Beach this morning. She is my daughter and we were the first on the beach and went out surfing at Dawn. The coldest part was running through the snow to the water as the wetsuit boots have very thin soles. It was about 6.45am this morning. We surfed for an hour and a few other hardy souls also surfed at South Clifton - UPSIZED

Crucial Tassie devil breeding program hit by NSW floods
An important interstate breeding program for the endangered Tasmanian devil has been hit by the flooding in NSW, with wildlife lovers springing into action to protect the animals.

Bushwalkers criticised by police after Tarkine rescue
The Westpac Rescue Helicopter has been deployed to rescue two hikers from the Tarkine after they became lost, with police reprimanding the pair for their lack of preparation.
