A New Norfolk logger accused of rape and indecent assault will head to trial, after pleading not guilty to each of the charges levelled against him.
Kevin Bruce Muskett, managing director of B.R. & K.F. Muskett and Sons Pty Ltd appeared in Hobart Magistrates Court on Tuesday before Magistrate Jackie Hartnett SC.
Muskett is facing five charges including one count of administering a drug with intent to facilitate the commission of an offence, and two counts of rape.
He also faces two counts of indecent assault.
Muskett pleaded not guilty to all five charges.
It was heard that there would be no preliminary proceedings sought, and that count two and three would be dealt with in the Supreme Court of Tasmania.
Muskett will have his matter mentioned in the Supreme Court in early May.
