Missed out on tickets for Cold Chisel’s upcoming Hobart show? Now there is a second chance to attend the concert.
Around 100 extra tickets for the band’s show at the MyState Bank Arena on November 13 have been made available.
The show originally sold out within hours, but a reconfigured seating layout will allow more people to fit into the venue.
Those on the waiting list for the Cold Chisel show will get first dibs on the extra tickets at 9am today, before whatever remains goes on sale to the general public at midday.
The Hobart gig is part of a two-month-long national tour celebrating the band’s 50th anniversary.
When the shows were first announced, lead singer Jimmy Barnes called the tour a “landmark moment”.
“There have been plenty of times where I never thought I’d live to see this day, so I’m going to make the most of it,” Barnes said.
“I can’t wait to celebrate with my mates and with all the fans who have been such a big part of our story.
“We’re gonna smash it!”
Cold Chisel guitarist Ian Moss said the upcoming would feature work across the band’s whole back catalogue.
“As we prepare the setlist, there are a minimum of 15 songs that our audience demands to hear,” Moss said.
“This time, we’ll be playing all of them, plus we’ll be throwing in lots of musical surprises as well.”
