MOBART Mo Bros will go to any lengths, even surfing down the face of a monster wave at Shipstern Bluff, to change the face of men’s health.

The Tassie boys have streaked ahead in the Movember challenge, but with four days to go, they still need donations.

Hobart surfer Mo Bro Shaun Wallbank said he was conscious he had to pose for photographer Alasdair Shurman when he screamed down the wave hanging onto a large plastic blow-up moustache.

“I knew my job was to get in the right spot with the wave,’’ he said.

Wallbank admitted he did have nerves.

“I had a lot of people relying on me and it was hard to hold onto the plastic mo — my hands were pretty frozen.”

The global movement raises millions of dollars each year for men’s health.

The team is looking to break its own record of $65,000 by reaching $70,000 on November 30.

Wallbank said the small community team had toppled much bigger corporate groups in the race to the top of the leaderboard.

“Just like we’ve got the biggest waves, show us you’ve got the biggest hearts, dig deep,” he said.
