FAST food is set to become even faster, with McDelivery now officially a thing in Hobart.

The service was launched in three Hobart restaurants on June 27 — Sandy Bay, North Hobart and Moonah — with plans to keep expanding in the future.

“We are excited that our food is now available to our Hobart customers through this partnership with Uber Eats as we continue to make McDelivery available to more Australians,” Antoni Martinez, market director of McDonald’s southern region, said.

“Delivery has long been one of the top requests we receive, and, with a growing number of people using Uber Eats to get their favourite foods, they are the ideal partner for McDonald’s as we launch this service in Hobart.”

McDelivery operates within a 10-minute delivery zone to ensure food arrives hot.

Customers can choose from nearly a full range of menu items.

A delivery booking fee applies to each order.
