Feel Good, Tasmanian tourism film

IT HAS been said that Lucy and Flynn Preshaw are two of the luckiest kids in the world.

The 12-year-old twins live at Richmond, which means they are only a few minutes away from the lolly shop that Tasmanian kids flock to during the school holidays.

The historic town is a popular destination for families, who enjoy visiting the ducks beneath the sandstone arches of Richmond Bridge while also indulging in old-fashioned lollies or an ice cream from Sweets and Treats or cakes and biscuits from Richmond Bakery.

Mum Jessica Higgins said the family didn’t often venture into the town on weekends as it was usually thick with tourists. But they would still enjoy a school holiday visit for ice cream.

Lucy and Flynn and their two older siblings like to hunt for waterfalls in the school holidays, with Snug Falls and Russell Falls among their favourite walks. They also love to visit the Margate Train.
