To celebrate, Virgin Australia has dropped over one-million sale fares to the Sunshine State from all parts of the country, with fares from as low as $59 one-way on the new Hobart-Gold Coast route offered for the first time.
The ‘Queensland is Good to Go’ sale includes a $59 one-way Economy fare between Hobart – Gold Coast to celebrate the new service, operating four times a week, adding over 5600 seats between the mainland and the Apple Isle each month.
The airline has also dropped fares to as low as $59 on Launceston – Brisbane services. The sale starts today and ends midnight this Friday or until sold out.
Virgin Australia Group chief commercial officer Dave Emerson said the airline was excited to offer one of its largest sales, to encourage travellers to make the most of the easing of border restrictions.
“Today is a monumental day for Australians and we are excited to help travellers right across the country reunite with loved ones or finally visit that dream destination over the summer holiday period and into 2022,” Mr Emerson said.
“We have over one million fares available from as low as $59 one-way and we encourage travellers to get in quick before they sell out.
