A 74-year-old man has died from his injuries after he was struck by a car in Main Street, Huonville.
A Tasmania Police spokesperson said police and emergency services were called to the scene on Main Street about 12.30pm Monday afternoon after the 74-year-old man was reportedly struck by a dual cab ute.
“He was taken to hospital and sadly died of his injuries today,” the spokesperson said.
“Our thoughts are with the man’s family and loved ones at this difficult time.
“The crash investigation is ongoing and a report will be prepared for the Coroner.”
