Every Tasmanian cricketer ranked ahead of 2022/23 season

Ahead of a massive summer of cricket, we've crunched the numbers and ranked every cricketer based on their form last season. Men, women and juniors have all been included in the mega list. See where you rank now. 

Ahead of a massive summer of cricket around the state, The Mercury has crunched the numbers and ranked every cricketer based on their form last season. Men's, women's and juniors have all been included to create a mega list of more than 14,000 players.

The Mercury has used data from MyCricket from the 2021/22 season to see where every player in Tasmanian community cricket associations rank for the season in batting and bowling.

We’ve used data to assign every player who batted this season a rank by runs, innings, highest score, average, 4s and 6s to calculate how they compare across all grades.

Premier League men’s player Anthony Mosca from the New Town Cricket Club was the leading run scorer for the season with 841 runs.

The Mercury has used MyCricket data to assign each bowler in the state a rank by wickets, runs, overs, average, strike rate and economy to calculate how they compare across all grades.

Premier League men’s player Cameron Valente from the South Hobart Sandy Bay Cricket Club was the leading wicket taker for the season with 47.
