A large piece of land next to the Bass Highway has been earmarked for a massive subdivision.

A development application is before the Central Coast Council for an 189-lot subdivision at Trevor Street and 170 Main Street at Ulverstone.

It is estimated that the project will take around a decade to complete.

“The subdivision includes 10 road lots, which will be transferred to the council upon the completion of the work,” The development application says.

“The subdivision will be completed over 10 stages, allowing lots to be released to the market in an orderly manner.”

The size of lots in the subdivision will vary between 456m2 to 2754m2.

“All lots provide direct frontage to new roads within the development.

“Connectivity is provided on land to the North, which includes a recently approved 49-lot subdivision at 1 Rawson Street.

“The Subdivision will connect to Trevor Street in the north and Main Street in the east.”

This is the second major subdivision in the North-West that has been unveiled over the last week.

Sydney-based Ann-Tas has submitted a development application for a subdivision at 62 Mooreville Road in the Burnie suburb of Shorewell Park.

The application before the Burnie City Council outlines plans for 45 residential properties and an additional lot left open with the potential to become a campground.

Ann-Tas also has large subdivisions slated for Smithton and Devonport, which feature 109 and 80 lots, respectively.
