THE scene is set for a SFL battle royale between Cygnet and Lindisfarne after The Port warmed up with a smashing of Sorell.
All that was left of the Eagles at Cygnet Oval on Saturday was a few bloodied feathers after Cygnet destroyed the visitors to the tune of 141 points, 26.16 (172) to 4.7 (31).
It was actually a goal apiece early, before Cygnet piled on the next 12 goals straight.
It took until the seven minute mark of the third term for Sorell to kick its second goal, and than added two junk time goals late in the last term as The Port dominated the contest in every facet.

James Zeitzen put in a best afield performance with six goals, but he was far from the Lone Ranger for Cygnet, with big Joseph Direen booting through seven goals to vie for the best on ground honour.
Cygnet will now take on fellow undefeated powerhouse Lindisfarne next Saturday at Anzac Park in what could be a grand final preview in just round four.
