AS well as being the most magical cricket ground in Australian Test cricket Blundstone Arena also tops of the charts in another area - lunch.

The spread for the travelling army of cricket writers has again lived up to its reputation as the best in the nation.

Fed-up with watching Australia roast the West Indies in the First Test of the Frank Worrell Trophy series, the media crew sunk their teeth into the best buffet.

Even the Cricket Australia staff who could dine with the players choose the media spread.

And why not when they serve up whole baked salmon, prawns, muscles, oysters, smoked salmon, beef and burgundy pie, and a raft of tasty salads.
