Two pedestrians struck by bus on Goodwood Road

Two pedestrians have been hit by a bus in a horror crash on one of Adelaide’s most busy thoroughfares.

Two pedestrians have been hit by a bus in a horror crash on one of Adelaide’s most busy thoroughfares.

Emergency services were called to Goodwood Rd in Goodwood about 6.15pm on Friday after reports abus turning left into Goodwood Rd from Leader St knocked over the pair while they were crossing via the pedestrian crossing.

A man in his 70s was rushed to hospital in a serious but stable condition, while the other pedestrian was treated at the scene.

Heavy traffic restrictions were in place on Goodwood Road in between Wayville and Goodwood.

Paramedics and CFS are on scene assessing the situation, along with SA Police.

MedSTAR emergency medical retrieval services were also called the scene.
