Sweeping Changes To COVID Rules In SA 26/03/22

Close contact quarantine rules that have sparked widespread chaos have been slashed while mandatory masks will all but go within weeks, under sweeping changes to Covid-19 laws.

Self-funded retirees will get another year’s extension to rules introduced at the start of the pandemic which cut the amount of money they have to take out of super as pensions.

The deadly mosquito-borne Japanese encephalitis virus has been detected  across the state, prompting a warning from SA Health.

And in sport, the Russell Ebert statue at Adelaide Oval will have special visitors before the SA football legend’s tribute game on Saturday night.
