Suicides among children and teenagers in South Australia have reached the highest level in a decade. 

Australia’s national netball team has been caught up in a row over its failure to wear the logo of its financial saviour. 

Almost 80,000 South Australian children live in households where skipping meals and even food for a day is common as rocketing cost-of-living pressures hit families. 

Former Labor prime minister Julia Gillard says ensuring the best start in life for all South Australian children will be her focus as head of the state’s Royal Commission into Early Childhood Education and Care.
