The Premier of South Australia has paid his “sincere condolences” to the Royal Family after the death of Queen Elizabeth. Olympic gold medallist and former South Australian governor Marjorie Jackson-Nelson was only 20 when she first met Queen Elizabeth. A potentially lifesaving test for babies, perfected in Adelaide, has been added to US newborn screening – but not in Australia. A prominent hotelier has been ruled “unfit” to hold a liquor licence.
