SA Country Fire Service issues health warning over Grampians bushfire smoke
South Australian authorities have issued a health warning over the Grampians fire, as well as a map showing which areas will be affected by smoke.

Smoke from bushfires raging in western Victoria has drifted over Adelaide and other parts of South Australia on Saturday morning.
The SA Country Fire Service said it will continue to move west across the state, with fires totalling 18,000 hectares burning across the Grampians National Park, near the Victorian border.
A Bureau of Meteorology forecast predicted that smoke will concentrate on the Fleurieu Peninsula, Kangaroo Island and Bordertown further east.
The CFS also warned residents in affected areas to monitor for symptoms of smoke inhalation.
“Symptoms of exposure includes shortness of breath, wheezing and coughing, burning eyes, running nose, chest tightness, chest pain and dizziness or light-headedness,” a statement said.
“If you or anyone in your care are having difficulty breathing, seek medical attention from your local GP. If your symptoms become severe, call triple-0.
“Smoke may also impact roads reducing visibility, please take care and drive to the local conditions.”
It also advised South Australians to call triple-0 “if you observe any smoke followed by flames or thick smoke plumes”.
Firefighters battled severe bushfires in the Grampians last December, but on Friday, a new blaze prompted authorities to declare it was “too late to leave” three areas, including Glenisla, Hynes and the eastern side of Rocklands.
No fatalities have been recorded in the region this bushfire season, but hundreds of livestock and 44 buildings have been lost.
