A huge blaze has ripped through a real estate agency in the western suburbs – the third time in six days, as police investigate an arson attack.
Emergency services rushed to LJ Hooker on Grange Rd at Flinders Park about 2am to find the front of the shop completely engulfed in flames and the roof collapsed.
Images show smashed windows, extensive fire damage and a large hole in the roof.
The office is located next to a residential building, however the fire was contained to the single premise, and no other buildings were damaged.
On Saturday, October 12, about 4.15am emergency services were called to the same business and then again on Sunday, October 13 morning.
Those times there was only minor damage.
Police detectives, crime scene investigators and fire cause investigators are at the scene.
It comes as Adelaide has been in the midst of a spate of arson attacks with 16 shops targeted by arsonists in connection to the illegal tobacco trade.
However, Senior Constable Rebecca Stokes told ABC radio the real estate agency fires were not being linked to the tobacco shop attacks being investigated by Operation Eclipse.
“There in no information linking this to Operation Eclipse or any of the recent tobacco store fires, if anyone was thinking they may be linked,” she said.
“(We are seeking) anyone who has got anyone who’s got any information as to the reason why there’s been three fires at this business – if anyone knows the motive of this give us a tip off on Crime Stoppers, 1800 333 000.”
