Owner Power Prices Aren’t Reaching Consumers 02/11/2022

South Australia’s much-vaunted advantage from renewable energy has been debunked by a top-level inquiry finding lower wholesale prices are not being passed on to consumers. 

South Australians have shrugged off consecutive interest rate rises and a surge in living costs to remain confident about the economy and their ability to spend up big or even change jobs. 

An alleged voter scam in the Adelaide City Council election – which could affect hundreds of ballot papers – is being investigated by the Electoral Commission of SA. 

The Greens are confident legislation to fast-track demolition of the Thebarton Police Barracks to make way for the new Women’s and Children’s Hospital will pass state parliament.
