A man has been rushed to hospital in the Medstar chopper after his truck rolled over in the Adelaide Hills this afternoon.

A man has been rushed to hospital after his truck rolled over in the Adelaide Hills on Friday afternoon.

The truck driver, a man aged in his 60s, became trapped in his vehicle just before 2pm, after it tipped over while unloading soil at Sophie’s Hill cellar door on Greenhills Road, in Green Hills Range.

He was eventually removed from the truck by emergency services and treated by paramedics for non-life threatening injuries, before being taken to Flinders Hospital by Medstar.

It follows a serious crash at Para Vista after reports a car slammed into a Stobie pole.

Emergency services were called to the called to the intersection of Nelson Rd and Montague Rd about 10.45am on Friday, November 1.
